On Saturday, October 25th, 2008 at 7PM & 9:30PM, the Inter-Media Art Center (also known as “IMAC”) in Huntington, Long Island will host an all-star concert –  Guitar and Saxes- featuring Gerald Albright, Jeff Lorber, Jeff Golub and Peter White.

As individual artists Gerald Albright, Jeff Lorber, Jeff Golub and Peter White have been delighting IMAC audiences for years.  It’s no surprise that this powerhouse quartet will thrill IMAC audiences as well.  With Gerald Albright on saxophone, Jeff Lorber on keyboards, and Jeff Golub and Peter White on guitars, this show is going to sell-out!

Whether he is playing contemporary or straight-ahead jazz, saxophonist Gerald Albright stands in a class by himself.  He is known for his swiftness on stage, his unique round sound which is percussive yet soulful.  Jeff Lorber has been among the top keyboard players in what has come to be called smooth jazz- an accessible, groove-oriented style that combines elements of jazz, pop and , quite often, R&B.  Jeff Golub's unique brand of funky, blues-drenched jazz guitar is a firm mainstay on the contemporary jazz charts today.  Since he burst onto the scene in 1990, guitarist Peter White has made quite a name for himself. Along with a prolific solo career, White has performed on recordings by Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, The Crusaders, Craig Chaquico, Greg Vail, and many others.
