On
Saturday, May 4th at 8PM the Inter-Media Art Center in Huntington,
Long Island will present a rock concert with Blue Oyster Cult.
Long before Pearl Jam, Radiohead and Smashing Pumpkins ruled
the airwaves, there was BLUE OYSTER CULT. With their insightful
lyrics, their technological bent and their visually compelling
stage presence, Blue Oyster Cult came out of the New York club
scene that spawned such groups as the Velvet Underground, The
New York Dolls, KISS
and The Ramones. And in the many genres that have sprung up
over the years, one can find a little bit of Blue Oyster Cult's
influence. Their last album,
"Heaven Forbid," on CMC International Records was
sure to join their other Gold, Platinum and
Multi-Platinum records. IMAC is thrilled to welcome BLUE OYSTER
CULT back to our stage.
Tickets
for this performance are $35.00 ($26.50 for IMAC Members).
