On Saturday, October 20th, 2007 at 7PM & 9:30PM,
the Inter-Media Art Center (also
known as “IMAC”) in Huntington, Long Island
will present an evening with jazz vocalist Bobby
Caldwell.
Chicks dig him. Rappers record his songs. And,
if a romantic mood is what you’re after, then the
dapper, blue-eyed BOBBY CALDWELL is your
man. The sensual, signature voice that made piles
of smooth jazz and R&B hits for more than 25 years
belts out the standards too. With his classic hits
like “What You Won’t Do For Love”, “Next
Time I Fall”, and “Heart
Of Mine” to new fans that discover
him on smooth jazz stations, Bobby Caldwell appeals
to a very large and diverse crowd.
As a songwriter, Caldwell has penned
songs made famous by other artists. His first big
cover tune, “Janet”,
became a hit for the Commodores, reaching
#1 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Other notable Caldwell creations
were “All or Nothing at All” recorded
by Al Jarreau, “Stay
with Me” by Peter Cetera,
and “Next Time I Fall”,
a duet with Cetera and Amy Grant which
reached #1 on the Pop and Adult Contemporary charts.
Tickets for this performance are $40.00 ($30.00 for
IMAC Members). For tickets or further information
