On Saturday, April 30th, 2005 at 8PM & 10:30PM, the
Inter-Media Art Center (also known as “IMAC”)
in Huntington, Long Island will present a concert with jazz
trumpeter Chris Botti.
Trumpeter Chris Botti is a gifted instrumentalist,
a talented composer, and a charismatic performer who- since
the release of his first solo album in 1995- has created
a series of recordings that have made him a virtual genre-of-one
in the realm of contemporary jazz. Through a singular combination
of lush atmospheres and thoughtful improvisations, he has
earned both critical acclaim and mainstream adoration.
In heavy rotation on mainstream radio,
A Thousand Kisses Deep, his new Columbia album, is Chris
Botti’s most diverse and accomplished work to date.
Chris has performed with such musical greats as Paul Simon,
Sting and Randy Becker. His official website is www.bottiology.com
