   On
Friday, May 31st at 9pm, the Inter-Media Art Center in Huntington,
Long Island will host a concert with jazz guitarist CHUCK LOEB
and jazz saxophonist JEFF KASHIWA. Although
few are aware of it, millions have heard the music of CHUCK
LOEB. The guitarist/ composer/ producer has played on more than
1,000 sessions for albums, films, TV and jingles; he has composed
underscore for soap operas and themes for such programs as the
"Montel Williams Show", ABC's "Gulf War Crisis
Special Coverage", CBS News "Up To The Minute",
PBS "Puzzle Works" and "P-Pals", themes
songs for the New York Yankees, The New York Knicks, The Atlanta
Braves, ESPN, NCAA College Basketball and special events airing
on HBO. Nominated for Guitarist and Producer of the Year by
the National Smooth Jazz Awards, Chuck has written music, performed
on albums by and produced recordings for Gato Barbieri, Nelson
Rangell, Larry Coryell, George Garzone, Warren Berhardt, Sergio
Salvatore, Michael Franks, Earl Klugh, Carly Simon, Special
                  EFX, and Spyro Gyra. Many
smooth jazz fans were taken by surprise in early 1999, when
JEFF KASHIWA left the Rippingtons after ten years to devote
more time to develop his career as a solo artist, but in truth,
the popular saxophonist has always had his eye on striking out
on his own. Kashiwa's renown in smooth jazz became secure with
the ten years with the Rippingtons, playing hundreds of gigs
and recording such as "Welcome to the St. James Club",
"Curves Ahead", "Black Diamond", and "Live
in L.A.". This kind of care and dedication has made Jeff
Kashiwa one of smooth jazz's most popular performers over the
last decade. He has enjoyed sharing the first part of his journey
with an ever-expanding audience and invites those fans and new
listener to join him on his vibrant future as a solo artist. Tickets
for this performance are $30.00 ($22.50 for IMAC Members). For
