FRIDAY, March 1st at
8:00 & 10:30PM, the Inter-Media Art Center in Huntington,
Long Island will host a concert with Japanese jazz pianist KEIKO
MATSUI.
Japanese
keyboard player KEIKO MATSUI is an intricate balance between the
sensitivity, gentleness and beauty she exhibits on a personal
level, and the passion, enthusiasm and aggressiveness she pours
into her music. She
feels that music is the fire between earth and heaven, and the
smoke from that fire is evident weather she's playing soft
delicate ballads or ripping through rock riffs with her portable
keyboard slung over her shoulder.
In
her sixth album for Countdown Records/Unity Entertainment Corp.,
internationally acclaimed composer/keyboardist, and America�s
#1 female Contemporary Jazz Artist, Keiko Matsui, presents her
second Enhanced CD and most realised work to date: Full Moon And
The Shrine: an
emotionally evocative
stroll through the world of smooth jazz, R&B, classical
instrumentation and melody.

for this performance are $30.00 ($22.50 for IMAC Members).
