Art Center (IMAC) in Huntington, Long Island will present
a concert with Japanese jazz pianist KEIKO
keyboard player KEIKO
MATSUI is an intricate balance between the sensitivity,
gentleness and beauty she exhibits on a personal level, and
the passion, enthusiasm and aggressiveness she pours into her
She feels that music is the fire between earth and
heaven, and the smoke from that fire is evident weather she's
playing soft delicate ballads or ripping through rock riffs
with her portable keyboard slung over her shoulder.
in 2002, Keiko
began work on her 14th studio album, THE RING, with the intention of creating music that would
communicate a message of peace, compassion and humanity to
listeners around the world.
Powerful, evocative, and eminently appealing, Keikoís
music has earned her fans the world over.
Ever mindful of musicís unique ability to unite
people of all ages and cultures, she hopes to spread The
Ringís healing message across the globe.
