On Saturday, September 20th, 2008 at 8PM, the Inter-Media Art Center (also known as “IMAC”) in Huntington, Long Island will present an evening of laugh-out-loud comedy with Jim Labriola’s Night of 1000 Guidos.

Comedian and actor Jim Labriola has assembled the best comedic "hit men" – all in one hilarious show. Johnny Rizzo, Al Romero, Vic DiBitetto, and of course, Jim Labriola himself, all perform their unique styles of comedy. Those in the audience – whether they're Italian or not – will find themselves laughing till it hurts. The show pokes fun at the stereotypes frequently given to Italians as four of the world's funniest men bring their A-game to the stage.

Labriola serves as the host of the evening, setting up the other comedians with his golden material. Labriola's beginnings can be traced to New York's famed Catch A Rising Star Comedy Club. As he honed his skills on the stage, the young standup comic eventually met Tim Allen, the comedian, film and television star. Labriola would open for Allen, and the beginning of a friendship was formed. He began to appear on Home Improvement, ABC's hit sitcom starring Allen. His character was the very popular and very funny "Benny Barony." Labriola continues to perform standup as well as make numerous film and television appearances.

Vic DiBitetto brings a frenetic pace, almost daring the audience to keep up with the laughs. His energy on stage is nonstop, even during his well-known "mannequin head" bit. He has appeared in the most celebrated comedy venues as well as a variety of television shows. Although Cuban-born, Al Romero still delivers the Italian comedy goods. His unpredictable arsenal of material keeps audiences on edge – and in stitches. Johnny Rizzo's trademark "rubber face" is known to comedy-lovers everywhere, from his appearances on television shows to myriad comedy clubs.

Tickets for this performance are $40.00 ($30.00 for IMAC Members).  For tickets or further information on this performance, or on other IMAC programs, call IMAC's 24-hour Arts-Line at (631) 549-ARTS.   Tickets can also be purchased at the theater from noon to 6PM, Tuesday through Friday, 2PM to 6PM on Saturdays and after 2PM on the day of the performances.   For further information, call IMAC's business office at (631) 549-9666.
