On
Saturday, October 12th at 9pm, the Inter-Media Art Center in
Huntington, Long Island will host a concert with vocal stylist
KENNY RANKIN.
Singer/songwriter/guitarist
Kenny Rankin is an artist who possesses a rare and multi-faceted
talent. A singer's singer, Rankin moves listeners with inventive
phrasing, uncanny strength of melody and distinct, clear throated
scat vocalizing as in his famous renditions of Groovin and Penny
Lane. Rankin is the first to admit that his music defies easy
categorization. "I like to exercise my freedom to explore all
corners of the musical spectrum," he says. "I am as comfortable
with Irving Berlin as I am with the Beatles". Kenny Rankin's
IMAC performances are immediate sell-outs, and we're glad to
welcome him back for another evening of music and song.
Tickets
for this performance are $35.00 General Public ($26.50 for IMAC
