Inter-Media Art Center in Huntington, Long Island will host an
exhibition of photographs
by LOU MARGIORE.
LOU
MARGIORE is a psychiatric social worker by day, but for the
past thirty years, his nights have been spent photographing
concerts. With his
Nikon N-70 in hand, Lou
has traveled the country- with a special focus on Long Island-
in search of shots of musicians in concert.
His portfolio of images is formidable- from Eric Clapton
to the Rolling Stones, Paul Simon to Led Zepplin, The Allman
Brothers to Johnny Winter.
In addition to his work as a photographer, Lou
also reviews concerts for Good
Times Magazine, Long Island�s oldest music periodical. His concert reviews have also appeared in Relix Magazine. This
current exhibit is titled ROCK
SHOTS.
Admission
to this exhibition is free of charge.
Gallery hours are from Tuesday to Friday, noon to 6pm and
from 2pm to 6pm on Saturday.
IMAC is closed on Sunday and Monday.
